The Problem

Your WMS bill grows every time you hire.

SaaS WMS vendors charge per seat, per device, per SKU — and the bill grows every time you hire. A ten-user operation on Fishbowl pays around $8,700 a year, and a typical small cloud WMS runs $500–$1,200 a month. Every year. Forever.

ExitSaaS WMS is a one-time license. Same capability. No rent on software you own.

You're not behind — every growing operation hits this wall. When you're ready to modernize, we make the switch simple and explain it in plain English.

Core WMS Features

A complete operation — out of the box.

Receiving, picking, putaway, transfers, returns, cycle counts, shipping, reporting, accounting export. Every screen built to scale from a single warehouse to a multi-zone operation. And because it's built on the same platform as our custom CRM, it can grow into a full Business Operations System — personnel, inventory, finances, customers, jobs, and communications, with AI built into all of it.

01 / 10

Inventory & catalog

Products with SKU, UPC, UOM, reorder point and quantity, barcode preview, and active/inactive toggle. Locations with bin, aisle, and zone organization plus barcode preview. Inventory matrix tracking quantity by product + location + lot, with manual adjustment behind a supervisor gate. Customers CRUD with soft-delete, search, and pagination. Lots with expiration date tracking. Serials for serial-number tracking and lookup. Transactions — a read-only audit log of every inventory movement.
02 / 10

Receiving & inbound

Purchase orders with full header and line CRUD. Scanner receive — a 3-step flow: scan the PO, scan the product, enter quantity, and commit. PO label sheets generated as HTML printable pages or raw ZPL output for Zebra printers.
03 / 10

Outbound & picking

Pick orders with header and lines, bulk Add-to-Wave action. Scanner pick — wave-aware, zone-sorted task flow with exception reporting, or legacy direct-order mode for simple operations. Scanner putaway — 3-step flow: scan product, scan destination, confirm quantity. Scanner transfer — 3-step source → product → destination.
04 / 10

Wave Coordinator

A 4-panel auto-polling dashboard showing active waves, the builder launcher, live floor activity, and completed-today waves. A 3-step build wizard (criteria → order selection → review) generates bin-sorted tasks. Wave detail view with progress, tasks, orders, and exceptions tabs. Picker assignment by wave and zone. Exception workflow covering short pick, wrong item, empty bin, damaged, and other — with supervisor resolution and optional reassign. Full status machine: building → released → picking → complete, with a cancel path. Powered by 11 wave API endpoints.
05 / 10

Shipping

EasyPost multi-carrier rate shopping across UPS, FedEx, USPS, and DHL. Shipping admin lists picked-but-not-shipped orders. One-click label purchase and tracking.
06 / 10

Returns & RMA

Returns admin with list, filter, create, and line management. Full returns lifecycle: authorize → receive → route to quarantine or restock. Scanner return intake flow on the floor. Auto-authorize toggle for low-friction returns.
07 / 10

Cycle counting

Blind counts with automatic variance posting. Scanner count flow — scan location → seed tasks → scan SKUs → finish posts variances. Open counts dashboard for supervisors to monitor in-progress work.
08 / 10

Labels & printing

Product, location, and PO label sheets in HTML printable format or raw ZPL for industrial Zebra printers. Configurable copies per label.
09 / 10

Reports

Low Stock. Dead Stock. Throughput. Top Movers. Empty Locations. Wave Performance. Every report exports to CSV.
10 / 10

QuickBooks Online export

Configurable account names for income, inventory, and COGS. Default tax code. Walk-in customer name. Configurable export directory. Drop-in to your accountant's workflow.
Platform

Built for the floor and the back office.

A

Scanner platform

Universal barcode resolver — UPC, SKU, location code, PO number, and order number all resolved from a single scan. Unknown barcode escape hatch with "Add as New Product" wired into every scanner flow so unknown items never block the floor. Native BarcodeDetector camera fallback for phones without a hardware scanner — no app install required, runs in any browser. Device auto-registration by IP on first scanner login. Two-session model so admin desktop and scanner phone coexist on one user account.
B

Users, roles & security

Three-role hierarchy — staff, supervisor, admin. User CRUD with role assignment and password reset. Device management with rename and revoke. CSRF tokens on every POST. PDO prepared statements throughout. Secrets stored outside the web root. Security headers via nginx — HSTS, X-Frame-Options, dotfile and .env blocking. Demo mode with isolated session and exit link.
C

Settings

Runtime-editable settings for receiving defaults, wave throughput, shipper address, EasyPost mode, returns flow, QuickBooks Online accounts, anomaly thresholds, and the digest email schedule and recipients. Tune the system without touching code.
AI Features

The first WMS that thinks.

Eight AI features built in. No add-on fees. No third-party AI subscription billed separately.

AI · 01

Conversational ops assistant

Claude-powered chat embedded in the admin dashboard and accessible via Telegram. Full read and write access to live warehouse data, with confirmation before any action. Supervisors can close waves, create cycle counts, check stock, and manage exceptions in plain English from any device.

AI · 02

Demand forecasting

A per-product forecast engine that analyzes transaction history and recommends order quantities with plain-English reasoning. Runs on a 24-hour cache with one-click regeneration per SKU or bulk refresh for all products.

AI · 03

Anomaly detection + daily digest

Six SQL-based signals monitored continuously: dead bins, short-pick outliers, velocity spikes, velocity crashes, expiring lots, and stalled waves. Results fed to Claude for prioritization and narrative. A daily HTML digest email is sent on a configurable schedule.

AI · 04

Natural language querying

Ask any question about your warehouse in plain English and get a live answer from your transaction ledger. No report navigation, no filters, no training required.

AI · 05

AI pick path optimization

Wave tasks sequenced by Claude to minimize aisle changes and walking distance. Estimated picks per hour shown at wave release.

AI · 06

AI receiving assistant

Point a phone camera at a supplier packing slip or product label. Claude extracts SKU, quantity, lot number, and expiry date — and pre-fills the scanner receive form automatically.

AI · 07

Warehouse layout optimizer

Analyzes 90 days of pick history to classify SKUs as fast, medium, or slow movers. Recommends bin reassignments with projected walk-time reduction and one-click transfer order generation.

AI · 08

Scheduled ops digest email

A configurable anomaly and ops summary email. Recipients, schedule, and SMTP settings all managed from the admin settings page.

MCP Server

Open AI access built in.

Every client deployment includes a native MCP (Model Context Protocol) server — a structured tool layer that gives Claude direct read and write access to that warehouse's live data.

18 tools exposed covering inventory, waves, orders, lots, cycle counts, and transactions. Used internally by the ops assistant and accessible via Telegram.

Bearer token auth. SSE push channel for long-running operations. Public manifest for client auto-discovery.

Admin setup page includes a live connection tester, token rotation, and copy-to-clipboard connection details.

Self-Hosted Advantage

Your data. Your server. Your rules.

No vendor can lock you out, raise prices, or sunset the product.

Your data, your server

Customer records, inventory, transactions, pick history — all on infrastructure you control. Move it, back it up, or migrate it whenever you want.

No vendor lock-in

No vendor can lock you out, raise prices, or sunset the product. You hold the license and the source.

Stack your IT team already knows

PHP and MariaDB. No Composer dependencies. No build step. No framework lock-in. Your existing sysadmin can run it.

One-shot installer

Self-deletes after first run. Security headers preconfigured. Secrets stored outside the web root. Sane defaults, day one.

Pricing

One price. One-time license.

Everything included — no feature gating, no per-user charge, no tier that unlocks the part you actually needed.

Note: Every client gets the full system — there is no smaller version. Operations running more than one warehouse, or needing a live two-way link to an existing ERP, are scoped individually up to $35,000. Data migration from ShipHero or Cin7 is quoted separately at $1,500–$5,000.
$67,000

Saved over 10 years. A ten-user operation paying about $8,700 a year for Fishbowl spends roughly $87,000 over a decade. This costs $20,000 once, so it pays for itself in about two and a half years and saves around $67,000 over the same period. Hosting and carrier fees are extra either way.
